Senior Pastor's Welcome

I am glad that you are interested in learning about Grace Church of Harmony. Personally, I love this church! Now, I know what you are thinking. You're thinking that I have to say I love it here because I'm the pastor and, besides, anyone would like a church that pays your salary. Well, you might have a point, but listen, I really love serving in this church. I've served as pastor of two other congregations and even did a two-year stint overseas training pastors, so I recognize a good church when I see one.

However, much more important than one's affection for any particular congregation is one's affection for God. I believe that God put us on the earth for one primary purpose: to promote the splendor of God by enjoying Him and praising Him forever. We meet on Sunday mornings for worship to pursue full satisfaction in God alone and to delight in Him. I envision Grace Church of Harmony as a congregation of people pursuing true happiness through a relationship with Jesus Christ and then spreading that joy to unbelievers and to other Christians through Sunday morning worship, through a variety of small group Bible studies, through Sunday School classes, and through other meaningful relationships
