Baby Bottle Campaign

Grace Church will once again be participating in the Women’s Choice Network Baby Bottle Campaign to help support abortionvulnerable women at three clinics in the Pittsburgh area. Baby bottles are available in the welcome center. Take one home and fill it with change or a donation check. Bottles should be returned to the lobby or church office by Sunday, June 15th. Are you ready for a new and different kind of Bible class?

The church has a long and rich history of singing the gospel. These hymns and spiritual songs have informed and encouraged the faith of Christians for generations of believers. Chris Jamison and Reid Moon are very excited to team up to dig into this very meaningful and encouraging goldmine of church music. In addition to singing the hymns, the class will explore the stories, the theology, and the music of 30 hymns, some old and some quite new. For some of the hymns, parts will also be taught and sung. Please join us for this informative, inspiring and fun adventure in music beginning next Sunday, May 25th at 9:30 A.M. in the fellowship hall.

The Bellora Scholarship

The Bellora Scholarship application period is open. Bellora scholarships are awarded annually for tuition expenses at colleges, community colleges, technical, and trade schools. Applicants must be active members of Grace Church. More information is available in the application form, which will be available in the Welcome Center and on gcoh.org beginning May 1st. Completed applications should be emailed to officeadmin@gcoh.org or mailed to 538 Main St., Harmony, PA 16037. The deadline for applications is Saturday, June 1st. If you have questions, contact Leah at the church office.

Women’s Summertime Sharing

This will be our 18th year of Summertime Sharing, of ladies sharing their stories how God has been working in their life. This year the women sharing are: Keturah Blystone, Robin McGuire, Haley Watson, Natalie Palma, Jesse Dressler, Barb Gutzwiller, Jansen Jamison, and Marsha Ellis. We will be meeting on Tuesday June 3, June 10, June 17, and June 24. We will be meeting in the Fellowship Room at 7:00 p.m.

Meals on Wheels

Grace Church is providing desserts, June 16 thru June 27. Please sign the lists in the Welcome Center. With your help this organization is able to provide affordable meals to senior citizens in need of a balanced, nutritious meal. All information needed to help is on the sign-up sheet. The Pastoral Search Committee (PSC) recently held its first meeting.

This initial gathering focused on outlining the overall search process and establishing clear communication pathways with both the congregation and Consistory. Consistory is developing the senior pastor job description, creating a comprehensive church profile, and preparing the key materials needed for the search process. We invite you to join us in prayer—for our church body, the Consistory, the PSC, and the future candidates whom God is preparing for this next chapter in our ministry.
