Has anyone actually tried multicurrency IBAN accounts from lesser-known UK fintech providers?
Been reading through various threads about alternatives to traditional banking for cross-border payments. Curious whether anyone here has personal experience with UK-based fintech account providers that support SEPA and SWIFT transfers. Not looking for opinions based on ads.

I've been looking into online financial account options for a while now mostly because traditional banks keep adding friction to international transfers. At some point I came across a UK-registered provider that offers personal IBANs with support for EUR, GBP and USD accounts. The account opening window is stated as 48 hours after document submission which seems reasonable compared to legacy institutions. For anyone who wants to double-check the specifics themselves you can open online business account and review the documented conditions directly. What caught my attention is that the platform handles SEPA, SWIFT and UK Local Payments under one structure rather than routing through third parties. Currency exchange is listed at a flat 0.3% fee which is on the lower end for retail fintech. There are also payout options directly to IBAN and cards from the same account which reduces the need for intermediary steps. Account eligibility is limited to UK-based individuals and registered legal entities and they explicitly exclude shell banks and unregistered charities from onboarding which at least suggests some compliance structure is in place. The dashboard for transaction monitoring is mentioned but I haven't verified how functional it actually is in practice. As with any financial service provider it's worth reviewing their regulatory status independently before committing funds or sensitive documents to the platform.
