Day of Prayer

TOMORROW, October 20th We invite everyone to participate in a Day of Prayer focused on: Unity in our church body, Wisdom and discernment for the consistory and Pastoral Search Committee. The future candidate God is preparing. Consider a day of private fasting to focus your prayers. In Matthew 6, Jesus reminds us to fast with a sincere heart—not for public display. Join us at 7:00 PM for a 30-minute time of prayer. All are welcome, whether or not you choose to fast.

Operation Christmas Child

Free shoeboxes and brochures are available in the Welcome Center. Start collecting fun toys, hygiene items, and school supplies and bring your filled boxes back to the church by November 16. There is a $10 suggested donation per box for shipping. Any questions, please contact Anna Schmidt or Barbara Gutzwiller.

The Reformation + Family Fellowship

Come join us for a family friendly evening on Friday, October 31st at 5:00pm in the fellowship hall as we remember God’s work in the Protestant Reformation. The night will include worship & singing, children’s crafts & activities, food & fellowship. There is a sign-up sheet in the welcome center. Please bring a soup, bread, or dessert to share! CrossTrainers annual Labor of Love will be on Saturday, November 1st.

If you need help raking leaves in your yard, or if you are planning to help rake leaves that day, please sign the appropriate sheet in the Welcome Center.

Wells for Uganda

Over the past five weeks, Grace Church has raised $22,000, the amount needed to drill water wells in four Ugandan villages. When the wells are pumping water, people will be celebrating easy to access clean water. The Jesus Film will be shown as part of the celebration and plaques with Bible verses will be placed at the wells. In addition to the verses, the plaques will be inscribed “Sponsored by Grace Church of Harmony, PA.” Thanks to all who took part.

Women’s Retreat

Women's retreat opportunity at Seneca Hills Bible Camp Oct 31st - Nov 2nd. Great chance to get away and worship with other women. Go for the day or the entire weekend. Please see their website for details.

Grace Church Annual Meeting

The Annual Congregational Meeting will be held on Sunday, November 9th at 9:15 a.m. in the Social Hall. Committee reports are due to the office no later than Monday, October 27th. All members and regular attenders are encouraged to attend this meeting. We will review and vote on the church budget for 2025 and vote for Elders and Deacons for the new term.
