GriefShare / Surviving the Holidays

TODAY at 2-4 p.m., Room B1 / Those who are hurting because of a death of a spouse, child, parent, or other family and friends sometimes can experience anxiety and even dread at the holidays. You will connect with others who have learned how to enter into the holidays with greater meaning and a new kind of joy. You will hear from experts about grief and the real complications the holidays bring and how to develop a plan for celebrating them with your family and friends.


Senior Saints Thanksgiving Luncheon

Thursday, November 21st at noon in the Social Hall. Join us for fellowship and a delicious turkey dinner. A $5 donation is requested. Please bring your own tableware. If able, bring a salad or a dessert. Beverage provided. Sign up in the Welcome Center TODAY.


Thanksgiving Eve Service

Join us at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22nd for a special service of Thanksgiving.


Southwest Food Cupboard's Angel Tree

You can help bring joy to a local child and family in need by participating in Southwest Food Cupboard's Angel Tree. Tags with wishes will be available in the Welcome Center Sunday, November 24. The spending limit is $25. Please do not wrap the gift - simply attach the tag. Purchased gifts are due back to church by Wednesday, December 4. Another way to participate is through their Amazon Wish List. Thank you!


Meals on Wheels

Grace Church is providing desserts, December2nd through December 6th. Please sign the lists in the Welcome Center. With your help this organization is able to provide affordable meals to senior citizens in need of a balanced, nutritious meal. All information needed to help is on the sign-up sheet. If you have any questions call Elaine Wise (724-452-6257).


Caroling

The women's ministry will be putting together a caroling event, Dec 7th from 1pm-3pm. This event is open to anyone who wants to come and make a joyful noise unto the Lord. We will meet at 1pm in the church basement where kids can make cards, we will put together care packages to deliver, and have refreshments. Our goal is to send caroling groups to Passavant, The Grove, and to congregation members who un able to get out and about. There is a sign-up sheet in the welcome center Contact Heather Sharek with any questions (267-223-5755).

The next men’s breakfast will be held Saturday, December 14th at 8:30am. The speaker will be Brad Wise, more details to come.

Christmas Poinsettias Order

It’s time to order your poinsettias for Christmas. Please make your check payable to “Grace Church” or attach cash to the order form and place it in the offering plate. The cost for each flower is $9.00. Inserts are in your bulletin today, and remaining order forms are available in the Welcome Center and are due, next Sunday, November 24th .
