Day of Prayer / TOMORROW
We invite everyone to participate in a Day of Prayer focused on: Unity in our church body, Wisdom and discernment for the Consistory and Pastoral Search Committee. The future candidate God is preparing. Consider a day of private fasting to focus your prayers. In Matthew 6, Jesus reminds us to fast with a sincere heart—not for public display. Join us at 7:00 PM for a 30-minute time of prayer. All are welcome, whether or not you choose to fast.
Thanksgiving Eve Service
Join us at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22nd for a special service of Thanksgiving
GriefShare / Surviving the Holidays / TODAY
At 2-4 p.m., Room B1 / Those who are hurting because of a death of a spouse, child, parent, or other family and friends sometimes can experience anxiety and even dread at the holidays. You will connect with others who have learned how to enter into the holidays with greater meaning and a new kind of joy. You will hear from experts about grief and the real complications the holidays bring and how to develop a plan for celebrating them with your family and friends.
Operation Christmas Child
Filled shoeboxes need to be brought back to the church TODAY, and placed in the large box in the Welcome Center. If you are unable to bring your shoebox today, please drop it off at the office this week. Thank you for participating in this meaningful project. Christmas Poinsettias
It’s time to order your poinsettias for Christmas. Please make your check payable to “Grace Church” or attach cash to the order form and place it in the offering plate. The cost for each flower is $9.00. Inserts are in your bulletin today, and remaining order forms are available in the Welcome Center and are due December 7th.
Red Kettle Bell Ringing
Please consider giving an hour of your time to help raise donations for the Salvation Army. Ring with your family or friends and bring some extra joy to the season! GCOH dates are Friday, Dec 5 and Monday, Dec 22 at Bi-Lo. Signups and more information are available in the Welcome Center.'
Southwest Butler Food Cupboard ‘Turkey Table
Please consider donating holiday meal foods in November and December. stuffing mix, canned vegetables, baking mixes, icing, pie crust mix, canned pie filling. Donations can be left in the bin in the portico or in the storage benches outside SWButler Food Cupboard at Zion Lutheran Church.

You can help bring joy to a local child and family in need. Tags with wishes will be available in the Welcome Center next week.
