Anniversary Celebration

As Grace Church of Harmony marks its 200th anniversary in 2026, we are looking for ways to celebrate this momentous occasion throughout the year! Do you have old pictures of the church or past services and events? Do you have ideas for recognizing our anniversary or would like to help? Text or call Cheryl Prouty 330-219-6077.

Save the Date

March 28, 11-2. Join the Women’s Ministry with a Ladies' lunch with guest speaker - Stacey Reaoch, a local author, pastor's wife, and mom of four. The topic is Choosing Contentment, based on her devotional book, Wilderness Wanderings, which traces the ups and downs of the Israelites' journey through Exodus.

Grief Share

The next 13-week cycle of Grief Share begins February 22nd and meets in room 201 from 2 - 4 P.M. There is no cost to group members. You are most welcome to register online at www.griefshare.org. We also welcome those who want to drop in to see if it’s right for you. You can also talk to group co-leaders, Reid Moon, Kathy Walker, and Amanda Prugar. You will find encouragement, understanding, comfort, and help in your time of grief.

Day of Prayer

On Monday, February 16, we invite everyone to participate in a Day of Prayer focused on: Unity in our church body, Wisdom and discernment for the consistory and Pastoral Search Committee. The future candidate God is preparing. Consider a day of private fasting to focus your prayers. In Matthew 6, Jesus reminds us to fast with a sincere heart—not for public display. Join us in B1 at 7:00 PM for a 30-minute time of prayer. All are welcome, whether or not you choose to fast.

Lenten Supper and Service

The meal will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by a service from 6:05-6:20. This week’s meal will be spaghetti with meat sauce, tossed salad and cookies. Next week’s meal will be burrito bowl or taco, chips and salsa with brownies.

Attention Grove City Alumni

“2026 marks the 200th anniversary of Grace Church and also the 150th anniversary of Grove City college. Since there are so many “Grovers” in our congregation, we would like to take a picture of the alumni and also include any present students at Grove City. If you are one of these people, please meet promptly at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, March 15, in the sanctuary for a picture. We will do this quickly so as not to interrupt the Sunday School Schedule. If you have any questions, please see Cheryl Prouty or Colleen Cotherman.

Men’s Chili Cook-Off

On Friday, February 27th at 6:00 p.m. the men of the church are invited to attend (better yet, compete in) the Men's Ministry annual Chili Cook-Off. Sample more than 20 homebrewed chilis, then vote for your favorite. The chef of the most popular chili will win the coveted "Jalapeno Hat and Apron" prize. Festivities begin at 6:00 p.m. If you are competing, you and your chili should arrive by 5:45. If you are not competing, please donate $5 to the event to cover drinks and desserts. It is always a great night of fellowship and sharing. Sign up in the Welcome Center or online here.
