Pastor Pete’s Retirement Celebration

There will be NO 8:00 am service. Sunday school will begin at 9:30 as per usual, but will conclude early with a 10:30 am Worship Service.

Fellowship III

For those of you who don't know about Fellowship III, 3 couples or singles (adults) are assigned to meet for a meal and fellowship: one hosts, one brings salad, and one brings dessert. If you can't meet at the host home, go out to eat, or meet for dessert. Sign-up Aug. 17 – 31 in the welcome center. Any questions please call Nancy Durst at 724-368-9733.

The Market at Grace

The Market at Grace – crafts and gifts – will be Saturday, Nov. 8. Women’s Ministry is sponsoring this with the goal of having a greater presence in the community. We will also have a GCOH information table. Grace Church attendees who wish to be a vendor will receive a discounted rate. Vendors should register by Aug. 15 under ‘events’ on the church website.

New Choir Season Starting September 3th

New Members Welcome! The choir practices on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm. The choir performs at the second service most Sundays, September through May. The choir welcomes singers of all levels of experience. If you have any questions, please contact Stephen Mick or Krista Moon.

Awana / Registration details coming soon

We are gearing up for the start of Awana on September 3rd. Club is on Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m. What is Awana? Friends, games, Bible memorization, teaching, Grand Prix, Quizzing and so much more! For Preschool through 6th grade. Any questions, contact Rick Voegtly (412-812-1717).

Grace Church Corn Roast and Hayride

The Annual Grace Church Corn Roast and Hayride is scheduled for Sunday, September 14th, 4-8 p.m. at the home of Brad and Elaine Wise (339 Mercer Road, Harmony). The picnic dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. Bring a favorite dish to share, your own hotdogs and buns, and a lawn chair or blanket. Beverage, corn and tableware are provided. There will be a bounce house for the younger kids. Feel free to bring yard games.

Ladies Tuesday Bible Study

The Tuesday Morning Women’s Bible Study will be starting back up on Tuesday, September 16 from 9:30-11:00am. The book of study is yet to be determined Childcare is provided for this study as well! Book Club

The book choice is Collector of Burned Books by Roseanna M. White. It is a Historical Fiction story. The date is TBD, but will be at end of September. Held at Grace Church. Contact Heather Shriver (724-841-6056) with any questions. Come ready to share your thoughts, enjoy good company, and sip something warm while we talk books.
