AWANA

Awana will begin on September 2nd from 6:15-8:00 p.m. each Wednesday night. Cubbies (two years before kindergarten), Sparks (grades K2) and TnT (grades 3-6) can come that night (or begin at a later date if necessary). Registration forms are available in the Welcome Center to fill out ahead of time and will be available on the first night of club. No need to preregister. Please call Rick Voegtly at 412-812-1717 or Cindy Speck at 724-814- 4508 with any questions or to volunteer to help with this important and exciting ministry!

Volunteers Needed

Grace Church is in need of volunteers for our infant nurseries and toddler room. We want to provide a safe and loving space for our littlest ones to play and be cared for while parents enjoy a Sunday School class and worship service. In order to do that we are asking for you to prayerfully consider giving your time a Sunday or two every 4 months. The schedule is open for Sept, Oct, Nov and Dec. and is available for signups in the Welcome Center just outside the sanctuary. If you have any questions or concerns you can see Lynn Fletcher-infant nursery, Jenny Schiever-toddler room or Gretchen McMichael, Sunday School Coordinator. We would be delighted to talk with you.

GriefShare

The death of a loved one can be overwhelming. It is also a singularly isolating and disorienting experience to go through. Our GriefShare group offers proven help. Since 2020, over 70 of our group members have found real support, understanding, and most of all, the comfort that God alone brings to the broken-hearted. The weekly videos feature nationally respected grief experts and real-life stories about other people who are hurting and working through the pain. Small group discussion about the video gives members an opportunity to share their own stories of loss and feel less lonely. We will host our next group starting Sunday, September 13th at 2:00 P.M. You are welcome to register online at www.griefshare.org. Our church sponsors the group so there is no charge for participants. You can also talk to our group co leaders, Reid Moon, Kathy Walker, or Amanda Prugar. We promise you will find comfort, insight, encouragement, and help in your time of grief.

Grace Church Corn Roast and Hayride

The Annual Grace Church Corn Roast and Hayride is Sunday, September 13th 4-8 p.m. at the home of Brad and Elaine Wise (339 Mercer Road, Harmony). The picnic dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. Bring a favorite dish to share, your own hotdogs and buns, and a lawn chair or blanket. Beverage, corn and tableware are provided. There will be a bounce house for the younger kids. Feel free to bring yard games.

Golf Outing

Men's Golf Outing put on by the Men's Ministry will be at Stoughton Acres Golf Course on September 6th. 1st tee time is 1:00. The cost is $40 per person (CASH ONLY) at the course. More info to follow.

New Members Class

Our New Member Class will be Saturday, October 3rd, from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. Whether you are interested in membership or simply want to know more about Grace Church, this class is for you. Lunch will be provided and childcare is available. Please sign up in the Welcome Center or let the church office know if you plan to attend.
