Mission Committee

Like a lot of Grace Church's activities, the monthly Mission Committee meetings will resume on September 8. We would love to see some new faces! This is a great opportunity to learn more about our over 50 missionaries and organizations. We typically meet the first Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in Room 201. Please consider joining us, our first meeting is September 8!


Grace Church Corn Roast and Hayride

The Annual Grace Church Corn Roast and Hayride is Sunday, September 14th, 4-8 p.m. at the home of Brad and Elaine Wise (339 Mercer Road, Harmony). The picnic dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. Bring a favorite dish to share, your own hotdogs and buns, and a lawn chair or blanket. Beverage, corn and tableware are provided. There will be a bounce house for the younger kids. Feel free to bring yard games.


Ladies Tuesday Bible Study

The Tuesday Morning Women’s Bible Study will be starting back up on Tuesday, September 16 from 9:30-11:00am. The study will focus on the book, The Way of Wisdom (it can be found on Amazon) Childcare is provided during this study as well! If you are interested in helping out with childcare, please see Amanda Prugar. If you have any questions, please see Amanda Prugar or Beth Beiter.


GriefShare

The death of a loved one can be overwhelming. Grace Church of Harmony will host a GriefShare group starting TODAY at 2:00 P.M and you are welcome to register online at www.griefshare.org. Our church sponsors the group so there is no charge for participants. You can also talk to our group co-leaders, Reid Moon, Kathy Walker, or Amanda Prugar. We promise, you will find encouragement, comfort, and help in your time of grief.


Men’s Breakfast

Join the men’s ministry on Saturday, September 13, at 8:30 a.m. in the Social Hall. Our speaker is Bruce Allison (Heather Sharek’s father. His talk is titled, “Preparing the Soil.” Please sign up online here or in the Welcome Center. Breakfast is $10.


Hymn Sing

The church is invited to a congregational hymn singing on Sunday evening, September 28 th at 6:00 P.M. in the sanctuary. A dessert will follow in the fellowship hall. Please use the hymn sheet to indicate which hymns you would most like to sing and place it in the offering plate. Children are most welcome to join in the singing but no childcare will be available. We are looking forward to a wonderful time of rediscovering some hymns and this enjoying this special time of praise and fellowship. Ladies Bunco Night

Roll into a fun night! Ladies are invited to a fun Bunco game night filled with laughter, friendly competition, and great company! It's easy to play so please join in! Bring a friend and a snack to share. September 26 from 7-9pm in the social hall.
