Women’s Summertime Sharing
This will be our 16th year of Summertime Sharing, of ladies sharing their stories of how God has been working in their life. This year the women that will be sharing their stories are: Nancy Durst, Tracie Gess, Pam Iaconis, Anna Schmidt, Tina Smith, and Sandy Bernd. We will be meeting on Tuesday June 4, June 11, June 18, and June 25, in the Fellowship Room at 7:00 p.m.
Blood Drive
A community blood drive will be held at Grace Church on Wednesday, June 5th, from 12 to 5 p.m. in room B1. Please donate. Someone is waiting. Online registration only: www.redcrossblood.org. Call Ken Frederick at 724-321-1611 if you need help signing up.
Young Families Wanted
Meet at Zelie Park for playdates on June 7th, July 5th, and August 2nd. Families with young children (or grandchildren) are welcome. Consider bringing along a lunch to continue the fun into the afternoon. If you have any questions, please contact Natalie Palma at 724-464- 3293.
Meals on Wheels
Grace Church is providing desserts, June 10th through June 21st. Please sign the lists in the Welcome Center. With your help this organization is able to provide affordable meals to senior citizens in need of a balanced, nutritious meal. All information needed to help is on the sign-up sheet. If you have any questions call Christine Paracca (724-316-0700).
VBS craft donation needs:
Any size peanut butter, mayonnaise, or similar jars with lids. Please wash and remove the label. These can be left in the VBS bin near the coat rack. Thank you!
VBS Registration
Our exciting Vacation Bible School registration is open on the church website, gcoh.org. "The Great Jungle Journey" is our theme during the week of July 15-19 at 9:00-11:30 a.m. Children ages 4 through those who have completed eighth grade are invited to join! You may also register in the church Welcome Center. CDs of the music are available for a $3 donation.
Women’s Ministry Garden Stroll
Join the women’s ministry on June 22 at 2 p.m. at Cathy Schweinegruber’s home. (209 Greenwood Road, Fombell, PA 16123) Meet in the church parking lot by 1:30 if you would like to carpool.
Camp Scholarships
Grace Church of Harmony provides Camp Scholarships to children of all families who regularly attend our church. This is not a need-based scholarship. If you have a child who is planning to attend Seneca Hills Bible Camp this summer, call the church office for the code 724-452-7270.
Baby Bottle Campaign
Grace Church is once again participating in the Women’s Choice Network Baby Bottle Campaign to help support abortionvulnerable women at three clinics in the Pittsburgh area. Baby bottles are available in the welcome center. Take one home and fill it with change or a donation check. Bottles should be returned to the lobby or church office by Sunday, June 19th.
